Forgot Password can't get a reset email

What issue do you have?

Moving to a new PC and cannot remember my Joplin password . When I click the send an email to reset I never get the email. Please check.

Sorry if I have misunderstood your question but don't you need to contact Dropbox?

The only password the Joplin client itself uses is the End to End Encryption password and there is no "send an email to reset" for that.

Could it be that when you installed Joplin on your new PC you selected Joplin Cloud as the sync option in error? I believe that the Joplin Cloud login page does have an "I forgot my password" link. If so you can go to Tools > Options > Synchronisation and select "Dropbox".
