What issue do you have?
Thank you for Joplin.
No "issue", but is it possible, and if so how can I have text at the top of a note that is always visible when I scroll down.
OK, sorry if that is not possible.
Another question. Using a MAC, how can I add a .pdf file to a note please?
hi @JollyJoplin, welcome to Joplin forum, just a frontier advice: if you have a new question, please open a new thread, otherwise people won’t see that you have a new question. I am not a Mac user but I think you’re not the first one to attach a PDF to a note, so I think the answer is somewhere here in the forum or in the net, did you search before your request here? I did a little search with Google for you, so you see it can be very effective:
To attach a PDF to a Joplin note, drag and drop the file directly into the editor or click the Attach file icon (paperclip) in the toolbar. The PDF is copied into the Joplin database, allowing it to sync across devices, and will appear as an inline link or embedded viewer depending on your editor view.

Methods for Attaching PDFs:
- Drag and Drop: Drag the PDF file from your computer into the Joplin note editor.
- Toolbar Icon: Click the paperclip icon in the toolbar to browse and select your PDF file.
- Copy/Paste: Copy a PDF file and paste it directly into the note.

Important Notes:
- Viewing: In Markdown view, you can typically see a preview, while the Rich Text editor displays it as an inline link.
- Syncing: Using the attach button ensures the PDF is saved within Joplin and synced, rather than just linking to a local file on your computer.
- Hotfolder Plugin: For advanced users, the Hotfolder plugin can automatically import files from a folder.

When you attach files, they are stored in the resources folder within your Joplin profile.
