Find & Replace keyboard shortcut

I just discovered that there is a find and replace keyboard shortcut - CTRL+G.

Why did I need Chat GPT to tell me that I could find and replace text?

I've been using an external editor until today.

In the keyboard shortcut list inside the app nor is it anywhere documented that I can find.
In fact, the documentation doesn't cover keyboard shortcuts at all.

It would have been nice after having used this software for years to know that I could find and replace text rather than having to move the text out to an editor and then back in again.

Are you certain that find and replace is mapped to Ctrl+G? On my machine, Ctrl+F opens the find and replace panel while Ctrl+G finds the next match.

I wonder which keyboard shortcuts the rest of the find and replace operations use...

Yes. Both seem to work to bring up the menu and G also goes to next.

On my machine Search and Replace was disabled by default. I'm on a linux machine. CTRL-H is the usual default for that function on Linux and I just set it to that.
