Hello all,
when I click the email note icon in the toolbar I get the note content in the thunderbird body as html code. I enabled the "convert to HTML" email plugin option.
So, actually, I need to cut the body email and paste it in the INSERT > HTML... thuinderbird dialog box, to get the text correctly formatted.
Is there a direct way to get formatted text in email from joplin?
TIA
tony
I'm using Outlook not thunderbird, but for me it works to copy text directly from the Rich Text editor. When I copy from the RTE into an outlook email, the text is pasted with formatting as expected.
When you copy from the rich text editor, it uses clipboard categories to copy both the plaintext and the html formatted text:
So if you then paste into an application that accepts HTML formatting, it should paste the formatted text, and if you paste into an application that only accepts plaintext, it should paste the plaintext
I used the plugin to send the current note content to an email.
I was not aware I could copy/paste the text. =O.
At this point the email plugin is useless to me, since copy/paste works as expected.
Thanks for your reply.
Tony
