"Dropped file type is not supported" notification

  • Version 2.1.9 (prod, win32)
  • WYSIWYG editor
  • Windows 10 20H2

When I drop a file in my note that has a unknown extension to Joplin (such as pptx or even txt), Joplin prompts me with a notification that the dropped file is not supported:
The notification persists even when I change to other notes and the only way to dismiss it is to click the "X" next to it. This is becoming quite cumbersome when you have many links to add. Is there any way to dismiss this notification permanently?

Could you please creat a issue on github.
Because if I see it correctly the files are uploaded fine and the error occurs in the WYSIWYG editor with almost all file types (Images and PDF produce no error).
