Hi folks. Is there anyway to disable the automatic inserting of two new lines before and after the location of an attachment? This occurs regardless of using the Attach File toolbar button or dragging and dropping into the markdown editor. File type also doesn't matter. Thanks
Joplin 2.8.8 (prod, win32)
Hi @circuit, the Markdown Prettier plugin might be helpful to you?
This will allow you—via a customizable shortcut, or a menu item—to tidy up a note's formatting. You can see an example of how it works at the given link. It's saved me a lot of time editing manually to tidy up situations such as you describe.
Thanks @johano that's awesome. I appreciate that it formats tables as well as removes double spaces. Very cool. Would be really neat if the formatter also ran automatically when switching away from a note.
What is the reason Joplin, by default, inserts two new lines before and after each new attachment?
