What issue do you have?

When I write text in Markdown mode and click Toggle Editors to render the document, and then I Toggle Editor again to continue editing, I cannot undo anything. I try CTRL+Z s well as Undo from Edit menu. Why is that?

@wyattbiker welcome to the forum.

I guess that it is because you are moving from one editor to a completely different editor.

If you want to see your Markdown rendered why not use the render view of the Markdown editor?

The viewing modes can be accessed when in the Markdown editor by using the Toggle Editor Layout button (see the red arrow in the screenshot). Each time you press it it will cycle between editor only, split view and viewer only.

The sequence can be controlled using View > Layout button sequence.
