Hi Team,

So recently had a hard drive failure. Not able to fix the file system issue in the SSD or boot the OS through it, But I am able to copy some files through a live USB OS.

I need to know which folders to copy and backup so I can restore joplin in the same state in a new installation and how to restore it. I know .config/joplin-desktop has the most of the data.

Yes my sync-server was down for a couple of months and I was lazy didn't backup my notes properly.

@calculus welcome to the forum.

As long as it is a complete recovery, that folder and its sub-folders contain the only data you need to fully restore to your new client to the state of the old client.
