Automatically run command on Desktop Application startup

OS Version is Windows 10, Application Version is Joplin 2.9.17 (prod, win32).

I am using the Journal plugin, which gives me the command "Journal today" to quickly jump to today's note, but I would like to open this note automatically on startup. Since the plugin doesn't give me any options for that, is there a way to run commands like this automatically?

The plugin could do this relatively easily I think. Maybe suggest it as an improvement on the plugin repo?

Okay, will do that then. Just thought there may be an option in the application itself, since maybe other people wanted to do something similar with other plugins.
