Android image attachment problem

Android v1.3.13 and Windows10 JoplinPortable v1.4.9

no errors in the log

if I edit a note on my Android phone (android10), the image doesn't seem to be attached correctly (see attached screen capture). the first 2 items were attached on my computer and they work fine. but the bottom 2 were added to the note using my phone (camera). am i missing something?

What's not correct about these 2 images?

this is odd, the images are now showing up on my PC. but it took a couple of sync cycles before they would render on my PC. i wonder if it was just an issue with my connection. it has been really slow today for some reason. anyway, sorry for the fire drill.
