Android 2.12.2 lock errors

According playstore, the android app was last updates september 2, 2023

I just noticed my notes are not synching and I see this error:

Completed: 05/09/2023 13:48 (1s)
Last error: Error: Error: Could not read directory: /storage/emulated/0/sync/ joplin/locks: Attempt to get length of null array. Path: /storage/emulated/0/ sync/joplin/locks

any ideas?

From the error message, it looks like you're syncing to the file system. Try selecting the sync directory again from Joplin's settings -- it's possible Joplin needs to be granted permission to read the sync directory again.
