An easier way to see URL of a note?

I see that this subject has come up before as there is no way of telling if there is a URL in the note properties without actually opening the note properties.

Hi, I found that the URL origin information is stored in the note properties (“i” symbol) Feature request : somehow change the icon when some URL information is available to let the user know about the availability of such information. Basically the same argumentation as for the tags. Formerly I used to add the referer URL at the top of my notes.

Many times, there were people here asking why Joplin doesn’t store an URL for scraped pages, only to be told it is in the note’s Info pane. My suggestion: make a button that opens the associated URL in the default browser. Only display the icon if the URL is not empty. What do you think?

Web clipper source URL - why hidden in note properties?

Hi, I'm new on this forum but I've used Joplin for some months now and it's become part of my daily tools. One thing I would really appreciate is quick availability of the source url grabbed via web clipper. Having simplified or complete pages is great, but their source is not always obvious from the content itself, plus I do need sometimes to check updated pages. But just to open that page, I need to find the "i" icon, click on it, then click on the url, then back to Joplin, click on OK or …

None of the above have resulted in any lengthy discussion and some also go further suggesting a clickable button is added to the interface. I must agree with you that a way of just knowing that there was a stored URL would be useful, even if it was just changing the note properties icon colour.
