I haven't installed this update on my Mac yet, but on Windows 10 trying this results in a new window that gains focus and then immediately loses it. Every time I give it focus, whether by Alt-Tab or clicking the thing in the taskbar, it loses focus and switches back to the main Joplin window in a fraction of a second.
