Yes it will, and it didn't occur to me it could be a problem. Unfortunately it means you may have to change your workflow as I can't think of a way to do what you want now, sorry about that. Perhaps a plugin could help with finding the stale notes more easily? [image]

There are other things that would be more persistent friction, and this is not one of them. I'll adjust :slight_smile: The real-time search and partially matching strings (not mentioned in changelog) are big benefits , definitely making 2.10 a net gain overall :wink:

I have a maintained tag assigned to notes the are continually edited over time in order to handle situations like this. Most of my notes don't need to be edited to be kept up to date, so I simply tag the ones that do.
