What is the expected behaviour of config sync.interval when using joplin terminal as erver?

Hello.

I use joplin terminal "as server": joplin server start.
I would like it synchronizes periodically: I setup the sync configuration (sync.target, sync.5.path, username...)
If I run joplin sync, it synchronized well.
I set the config parameter sync.interval to 300 (5 minutes), but the sync doesn't trig automatically every 5 minutes.
I tried to stop and start server again, but it doesn't work better.

My questions are:

  • can I expect joplin server start to sync automatically every 300s?
  • If not, what is the purpose of this sync.interval parameter?
    • Only used when joplin terminal is running?
