Using the latest Linux Mint and Joplin desktop app I can only get the Web Clipper in Firefox working if the Joplin desktop app is open. In Windows it is possible to close the app and still be able to use the Web Clipper.
Am I doing something wrong or is it just not possible to do the same in Linux?
In Windows you're probably just collapsing Joplin to the system tray, not really closing it.
