On macOS you have to hold the option key and use the mouse. I don't think there's a keyboard shortcut in CodeMirror for this.
nvm i randomly tried strg+alt and it worked for windows
Can you please clarify, if you had to use the mouse or were you able to just use the keyboard?
Pressing STRG+ALT and select the box or a vertical line with the mouse
