Use todo.txt and JavaScript for cross-platform checkbox (to-do) management

This seems achievable. Even on mobile.
Is it possible to do this on mobile devices? There is a great need to manage to-dos on your Android device.
This plugin has been implemented.

Seconding this. I'm currently trying to figure out how to use a regular export option to export my Metis plugin todo.txt notes in Joplin to a shared folder with Todo.txt on my Android device - it would be so much nicer and simpler if todo.txt format simply worked natively in Joplin.
