Unsupported symbols in KaTeX

Hello there!

Am I doing something wrong or did i find two unsupported symbols in KaTeX within the markdown-editor? I am specifically talking about \female and \male, which should be available if I'm not mistaking.

Just to be clear, I am not talking about the symbols in normal text but within chemical or mathematical equations.

Thanks for your help!

I've checked the katex docs and I can't find those symbols. Can you share the reference that you're using? If they are indeed katex symbols, it's possible that the Joplin version of katex needs to be updated.

Hi,

you may be right - i was checking Detexify LaTeX symbol table (search for "female" or "male"). It says there that it's available in textmode & mathmode. But seems to be working only in LaTeX, not KaTeX.
