Symbol $\S$ doesn't work

KaTeX does seem to have the symbol $\S$ (Support Table 路 KaTeX), why doesn't it work in Joplin?:eyes:

maybe with this syntax $\text{\S}$? It works in my context: "Joplin 2.4.12 Mac"
