Unable to setup sync with One Drive in mobile

Problem

I am not able to sync with OneDrive, even if I set the sync target as one drive in settings and click on sync. This same thing happens and nothing else happens other than this white screen. I tried this a lot of times and even reinstalled this app.

Can it be that your phone can't access OneDrive servers? Can you access it from web browser on the same phone?

I'm pretty sure onedrive sync is broken because some changes they did to the api, I remember reading something like that here, may want to take a look.
