Toggle sidebar shortcut on Mac

I haven't found this problem in the forum, probably because I don't use the right words.
On Mac OS, the "toggle sidebar" shortcut is alt+cmd+S.
It's inactive as long as the cursor is in the editor window.
So, if I want to avoid the mouse, I have to use two shortcuts: shift+cmd+S (toggle the focus ), then alt+cmd+s
