What issue do you have?

When I click the Toggle Editors buttons, the menu bar changes BUT the note doesn't switch to Markdown so the note can't be edited. I looked through the settings but didn't find anything that seemed to relate -- any ideas?

When in the Markdown editor have you tried toggling between the editor only / viewer only / split view options? It sounds like your Markdown editor is in viewer only mode.

Thanks, clicking the Toggle Editor Layout button and switching through the layouts fixed it.
