What issue do you have?
I do have both Joplin on Linux Mint and Joplin on Windows.
On Mint the toggle between the 2 editor modes works fine but on Windows I can not get (anymore) to pure MD.
F.E. I cant edit the table structures at will. It stays "smart" even with all extensions switched off and Joplin restarted.
Go to settings > editor, and disable the 2 settings which start with 'Markdown editor: Render'
Thanks for your quick response, however these setting are already switched off!
I made the settings on both machines identical!
So, there must be simething else I did overlook!
Make sure you restart the app after changing the settings. If you still have the issue, can you send a screenshot showing the issue and including the full editor and controls in the screenshot?

In the first screenshot, there is a button on the left of the 'i' button which is active when on the markdown editor. Click that button a few times to toggle between split and unsplit views
