first of all allow me to thank you for this powerful app and for all your hard work! Abandoned Evernote, Microsoft and Notesnook and Joplin is my last hope.. Please tell me how to see the tags by default in Linux and Android under each note.
I have a big amount of notes, entering the desired ones to see the related tags is way too complicated and time consuming.
And the second and the last question please: how to make notes with linked and clickable tags inside? In Linux I can make a summary of tags and click them.. in Android it's not working.
not sure I understand either question, but maybe I can start the discussion.
In my desktop application (also Linux; but using the Markdown-editor & viewer only)), I see the tags at the bottom of the note; colour & size can be changed via CSS. Or do you mean "show the tags in the note list window"? I'm not aware of any way to get this done.
Second question I don't get either, but I'm not a tags power user anyway. I know there are several powerful plugins like the tag navigator which might do just what you need; if you say it's working on the desktop maybe you've already spotted them.
On Android not every plugin works, though, so you might be out of luck there.
@Kay, thank you so much for your kind reply, and I'm sorry if I didn't express myself clearly. So, in the Linux app, it's easy to see the tags for each note—they're at the bottom of the page, just as you said—but how do I do that to see the tags the same way on Android, either at the bottom of the page or somewhere else in the list of notes...?
It would be helpful if we could see the tags associated with each note—either within the note itself, as on Linux, or somehow listed below the title of each note in the list on the left.
Maybe in my second post I expressed myself even worse than in the first one. I want to create a clickable table of contents for a notebook, for example: #groceries contains: #carrots#cucumbers#potatoes #fruits have: #oranges and #pineapple.
I need all the tags to be clickable, so that I can, for example, click on #oranges and see all the notes that contain that tag. Manage to do that on Linux usingjoplin://x-callback-url/openTag?id=0200010xxxxxxxx, but on Android is not working.
