Syncing desktop and laptop

how can i sync my desktop (windows) with my laptop (windows) via pcloud (Drive P:)?

I think pcloud supports WebDAV, so you will select it in the settings and fill in your pcloud WebDAV credentials (you can look those up online). I’m not a pcloud user so I can’t be much help beyond that.

Thank you. It is not necessary to use Webdav, because pcloud itself takes care of synchronization with the desktop. My problem is rather how to configure the laptop if both are to work with encryption.

Joplin only applies encryption on sync. So you configuation will use local file sync (point it to your pcloud directory). You can then simply enable encryption and supply a secure password. There really isn’t anything special that needs to be done.

I would like to uninstall Joplin completely and reinstall it from scratch. Unfortunately the settings I made during a previous installation are always used again. What do I have to do on Windows 10 to reinstall completely with the default settings?
I uninstalled Joplin in the Windows Control Panel and additionally deleted all directories under ../appdata/local and ../appdata/rooming

You don’t have to uninstall Joplin just QUIT Joplin (File > Quit) and delete (or move) the contents of the C:\Users\<name>\.config\Joplin-Desktop folder. When you start Joplin again it will start up with default settings and notes.

If you have already created notes that you want to keep make a JEX backup first (File > Export > JEX - Joplin Export file) and import them back in afterwards. If you have created custom templates or css files that you want to keep copy them elsewhere first as they are not included in the JEX backup
