Hi, I am using posteo as email provider. They offer a Notes feature which syncs over IMAP. The synchronization works well with the default iOS and MacOS Notes App. Unfortunately there is no App for Andoid which supports this.
It would be great if Joplin could support Notes over IMAP.

I used ImapNotes3 before. It's really practical but not like Joplin. I wish to see Joplin support IMAP.
This is true of CalDAV as well. As Joplin's task management features aren't really satisfactory on mobile (as much as I like Joplin for taking notes), I'm managing my tasks on Nextcloud's web interface and iOS's Reminders app. This setup allows for rudimentary note taking as well - and it's a standard protocol like IMAP.
All in all, I'm still looking for the perfect all-in-one solution, which Evernote always claimed to be, but failed to deliver. Maybe enhancing Joplin's mobile capacities is the right step forward (such as supporting plugins, albeit selectively).
