What issue do you have?

Hi,

I'm coming from Evernote. I have imported on the windows app joplin my notes.
But I never use my notes on Windows. I want to put it on android app and don't sync it with anything.
I don't wand and don't need to sync with joplin cloud.

How to do this?

Not really possible as far as I know, there isn't an importer in the Android app. You would need to set it up on Windows and sync it first.

But then I should pay for sync with Jolin cloud? There's no free means?

Not at all. You can use Dropbox. A webdav server. Nextcloud. OneDrive, Amazon S3 or a file system sync using something like syncthing. Or even host Joplin Server yourself.

It is generally recommended to have it synced to desktop simply so you can have an easily recoverable backup - you can't make a JEX backup on mobile quite as easily.

ok i've got onedrive. I'm logged with joplin on onedrive.

Where should i put the file enex in onedrive to then sync with joplin?

It is best to read through the help files to make sure you understand what you are doing and why. The enex first needs to be imported into Joplin itself, don't touch any of the files in the onedrive or place anything in tthere manually. Once your notes are in desktop joplin then they will sync to your mobile if it has been set up correctly.

Ok thanks. I managed to sync all my notes.

Other problem: my wife got evernote too and I want to migrate her on joplin but she doesn't get a onedrive or other cloud system.

What should I do? Could I use my onedrive to migrate her notes?

Other question: when I research a word in the notes that I have imported , nothing appears.

How could we fix that?

You could but only after removing all your notes from there first. Otherwise everything will get merged together, likely ending in a big mess. There has been a case on the forum recently, where someone tried to use the same Dropbox account with their spouse, which ended in a disaster.

Ok Thanks,

I uninstalled and then reinstall JOPLIN but the research doesn't work in the importated notes.

It works on the desktop app but not with my android app.
