Switched to MacOS, now edited notes are synced several times on my mobile

What issue do you have?

Hi,
I have been using Joplin on my laptop with Windows as well as Linux and have been quite happy. I sync my notes via JoplinCloud to my mobile - everything was fine.
However, I switched to MacOS now and experience the following troubles:
When I edit my notes on my laptop and sync them on my mobile

  1. the respective notes are syncing (indicated by the key symbol) for quite some time, and
  2. the notes then appear 3 times (same note - same title) on my mobile, and
  3. it keeps syncing, so in the end I have like 15 times the same note on my mobile, that I just edited on my laptop.

I already googled a lot and did update Joplin on my laptop and re-installed the app on my mobile. However, nothing changed.

What can be done about it?
