Support for pen and handwriting

I don’t know what is the status of MPP pen support and handwriting. And I have been advised to create a new thread about it so here it is.

Linux distribution whether it is on wayland or x.org under fedora or Ubuntu or even archlinux, are now up to support MPP pen completely and have then even Linux tablet like starlabs’ one natively.

And I have been a supporter through Patreon of this project for a long time now.

I never really used it, only occasionally because of that lack of support and also the problem of sync etc.

But if someone can confirm me that this app is fully ready to have handwriting support with pen, then it would be a real relief.

And this is one of my many practical case.

I would love to use it for my Japanese courses. And those courses are requiring a lot of handwriting. I am not interested in, I don’t know, the typing style and have the machine do the rest to shorten it to a specific kanji or else.

I need to be able to for example create a team account in the Joplin cloud, invite my private professor to it, and begin to create pages and pages of handwriting with MPP pen so my professor can correct me remotely with her Joplin app on another device etc.

So what’s the exact status on it ?

That would be nice to know.

I don’t specifically need the same experience as one note or notability's or goodnotes.

Thanks in advance

Sorry if it is not the right place to post this. But at least something …
