I do find the “Uncompleted to-dos on top” option helpful, but switch it on and off frequently to see most recent Notes. It would be helpful if there was a quicker way, such as collapsing the To-Do list when it’s at the top (similar to collapsing the Tags list or any given Notebook).
Better yet, there could be a row of four buttons at the top of the Notes List (including on mobile): First is to show all, second is to show only Notes, third is to show only To-Do. One of those three is selected, switching the others off. Then the fourth button is to toggle on and off visibility of notes Marked as Confidential.
Could be extended further with e.g. toggle visibility of ToDos which are late (or which are due this week etc) even when ToDo visibility is generally off. But, this could be starting to get cluttered.
