I'm thinking in using Joplin Cloud, but to understand what plan should I use, I want to understand how much Storage Space do I need.
Can I just check the size of the directory: C:\Users<username>.config\joplin-desktop?
Or this any other method?

yes, size of your profile (directory you listed) is good rough estimate how much space you'll need on your future cloud. Be sure to exclude folders JoplinBackup and plugins from this directory (if you have them) for more precise result
