What issue do you have?

I'm on windows 8.1

I installed the update after not using joplin for some time. Got that error immediately afterwards and the app won't start. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same deal.

Windows 8.1 and older is no longer supported. You need to either upgrade your operating system or stick with using an older version of Joplin.
