What issue do you have?
I used the shortkey F3 to change the editors layout. Now F3 opens searching in the note in the editing mode. But shortkey F3 is not defined as a shortkey.
What do you mean ?
By my side I use [F3] for another purpose.
If I delete the shortcut
nothing happen by default (no search for example) when I do [F3].
I'm 3.3.12 under LINUX. I will have a look later under WINDOWS.
Is it possible that [F3] is used by a more recently installed software in your system ?
What do you have here: ?
F3 open this:
but only in editing mode.
It does the same like F6, searching in all notes:
But F3 is not definde as a shortkey.
Flash:
This could help for non germanic people:
So no [F3] is used in all the JOPLIN shortcuts table.
Do you have installed a new software since this strange behavior occurred ? Maybe it's using your [F3] key too...
Are you using a screenshot tools with configurable keys ? Are you using AutoHotkeys ?
Anyway the fact the search starts with a non defined hotkey (F3) is strange.
Have you try to configure the shortcuts with F3 for search, rebooted JOPLIN, deleted the shortcut F3 for search and rebooted again, in order to see what happen ?
