What issue do you have?

After upgrading from 2.x to 3.0.12 it appears that searching by Note ID does not bring up any results. It is sometimes handy to search by Note ID when cleaning data or looking for a specific note among a sea of similar notes.

Do you mean searching by Joplin's internal search or by API? For me both works with Joplin 3.0.12 on Linux:

grafik

$ curl http://localhost:41184/notes/c947e380dd5d4d3ab193045ff980a20b?token=XYZ
{"id":"c947e380dd5d4d3ab193045ff980a20b","parent_id":"cbc8c58ac4a546e795c27bf121e5d531","title":"RVE","deleted_time":0,"type_":1}

lol that's all I needed to do? Thanks! In previous versions I just plugged in the note id without the id: and the search worked. Happy to know it's not broken, and I just need to use the correct syntax. Appreciate the tip -- thanks again!!
