Why can't I search inside a note unless I'm in it's source.?
It's not productive for me to only have to search from the source.
I don't quite follow what "source" it is about. Mind elaborating a bit?

maybe source is the wrong word.
I can't search in the rendered view.
I get the message:

THen I have to switch to edit mode to search but edit mode is often cryptic and full of html or markdown code making searching tedious.
