Right-Click to Paste when Creating a Hyperlink Not Working

I just upgraded...

Joplin 1.4.12 (prod, linux)
Sync Version: 2
Profile Version: 34
Keychain Supported: No
Revision: 0f0c50a (master)
Linux Mint 20
I have spell check enabled in the markdown editor

Steps to reproduce:

  • Highlight some text, then hit ctrl-k to create a hyperlink
  • Right-Click to paste. Instead of getting a menu where you'd select "paste", I just see a brief flash of a black box and nothing more.

I'm usually more of a keyboard guy, so by the time I've highlighted the text and hit ctrl-k I have something on my clipboard to ctral-v paste, but this morning I didn't - so I used the mouse to copy from another app then try to paste, and discovered this.

I don't think it was like this in the previous version - but as I mentioned, this isn't my typical workflow.
