Joplin 2.8.8 (prod, win32)
I found it strange that the installer didn't ask where Joplin would be installed at.
I have a very small C-drive. I wish to relocate the software to a much bigger hard drive and use the app from there.
Is this possible?
Have you tried using the portable release of Joplin? This way you can keep both the executable and user data in your location of choice.

So I delete the basic installment first?
Will it erase all my notes?
No, but they won't be available in the portable installation either. You should export them first, and then import into the portable application.
