Ram used vary every time

Hi there,

I’d be curious to get some clarification on how Joplin uses the RAM.
I noticed that sometimes the use is very minimal, around 85-90 MB. Other times it goes up to 280-300 MB.
This difference is regardless of the type of operations I’m doing, it’s just random.

Not that I’m concerned about the RAM used, just being curious on why the difference.

My PC specs:
Win 10 Pro
AMD Threadripper 1950x
64 GB RAM

Could it be due to the operations Joplin is doing, such as syncing?

You just reminded me that I need to setup the sync at some point! :slight_smile:
But, no, currently I'm not doing any sync.

Certain other Electron apps show this same behavior, although I am not sure if that is the case here.
