I actually want to receive update reminders and do not want to disable them completely, but I do not really need an intrusive nagging modal dialog box literally every few hours.
I really like Joplin and keep it running in the background. The setting “Automatically update the application” apparently does not mean, that it is actually automatically updated by itself, right? It just shows a very persistent and repetitive dialog box, which reappears, even after clicking ‘Yes’ to the download question.
Please add an option to choose the number of days between checking for updates, or a weekly update frequency for example.
