Thanks for your reply. While I am in the middle of an epic journey of engineering my customized-style Joplin installation/reinstallation/backup mechanism, I also took a chance and tested this plugin during the last half an hour, it is a pity that the plugin's end product is an image which means the mindmap cannot be updated later. It is a great idea, I hope the plugin gets better and comes with the possibility for updating.

really? I made a mindmap for a quick try.
Before reading the doc 
I exported the map in .md format. Then, it has been inserted into the note, and it's full editable.
