No more colors or formatting in editor

Upgraded Joplin 2.2.6->Joplin 2.2.7
OS: macOS Big Sur
Issue: No more colors or formatting in editor, ie:
When I tabbed a bulletpoint, it would turn yellow. double-tab purple. etc.
When I double-hashed a heading, it would appear larger in editor.
No longer the happens. Just see bare text.

Thanks, but unfortunately, I don't know how to code. Do I create a new userchrome.css file and paste the code? Where would I save the file to?

Yes as you say.
I am on Win 10 machine:

C:\Users\Your Name\.config\joplin-desktop

The easiest way is through Joplin settings. Tools -> Options -> Appearance -> Advanced. Click on "Custom stylesheet for Joplin-wide app styles". This will open notepad. You can copy and paste the text there. Please restart Joplin (Ctrl+Q), and the colours will be restored.

Did that and same thing is happening. This is a huge change to people who are used to the app.
Edit: It works but is wack af. The colors for headings are different, and bullets are all the same color.

I guess you get what you pay for. I'll probably just downgrade to 2.2.6 until they add the option in a future release.

The provided styling is just for light mode. It should be identical to 2.2.6, if you're seeing something else, then something probably went wrong with the Copy-Paste operation.

I copy/pasted it correctly, it appears. The css was intended for light mode, when I use dark mode. No big deal. I just reverted back to the last version by downloading from GitHub. I hope they add the option to switch to the old markup in the future.
