Hi again, my other suggestion for Joplin is Themes. Is there a way to customize them myself with a bit of elbow grease? It would be a real kicker if Joplin had, in the appearance tab, a button to customize the main colors of a theme.
(My biggest problem with the current themes is the lack of a light grey option, and the fact that most dark modes make bolding look much less noticeable).
If you are handy with a bit of css then there are quite a few things you can do with the application to alter the appearance. If you search for "userchrome" in discourse you might find a few examples on how to modify it further. It isn't the most user friendly option but you can do quite a few things with it.
There is also a wiki on the forum that has some useful customizations
Thank you for the tips. I did some very mild CSS ages ago and programmed some python in a basic course, so I'll give it a go.
