What issue do you have?
Hello there,
I got problem with (probably) corrupted file on Nextcloud server, blocking sync options for all devices (windows, linux and android) which previously worked flavlessly for 1.5 year. (screenshoot 1 reference)
In my ignorance, I tried to mess with it by myself, and I've erased all files from Nextcloud folder (have a backup) and tried to sync it - It worked, but I lost notes on linux (yes, I've turned fail proof off).
Later, I reversed changes on Nextcloud folder, and got error message 2 - screenshoot 2 ref.
Windows device is in remote location, and I am not able to access it rn, so I tried to create a new folder, and sync android notes with it. It worked somehow, but fail proof is protecting android notes from being deleted. The problem is - from what I know - that Joplin is trying to use sync folder (which is blank) to erase all notes from android device.
workaround around this problem, would be to create a backup, and load it on desktop (I guess) to at least secure data. Unfortunatelly, mine android device is having hard time recently with "not being able to access location of joplin backup" due to it not existing (from what i saw)
So, for tldr of what I would need (I guess):
- a way to make Joplin use android notes being pushed to the nextcloud, instead of trying to eradicate them
- force android joplin to save Joplin backup file in custom location
I know this problem is weird, dunno what to say honestly.
