I have seen this in much earlier posts but there was never any reply. I use multiple languages (as the other user said - sometimes within the same note.).
Is there any status or response from the development team about being able to implement spell checking with multiple languages at the same time?
This was already implemented quite a while ago and has been working great (at least here, with 4 languages enabled). Are you using an up-to-date version of Joplin?
Thanks for the answer. OK. Maybe I'm missing something.
I'm running: Joplin 2.13.12 (prod, win32) - Revision: e027cdc
Maybe I'm not seeing how to do it correctly. When I go to the spell checker (see screenshot) I get asked if I want to change the spell check language, not add on.
OK. Mea cupla. I tried it and it seems to work. I'm afraid I took the prompt "Change Language" literally. Change for me meant that it would allow you to 'change' your existing language, not add additional languages. However, it DOES allow that. Apologies and thanks for your response.
