RETRY ALL
Joplin failed to decrypt these items multiple times, possibly because they are
corrupted or too large. These items will remain on the device but Joplin will
no longer attempt to decrypt them.

I use the desktop application far more often than the mobile. But this started happening and I can't get rid of the error.
My two desktops sync without issue. This mobile device though … issue.
Note: I have one plugin installed on my mobile device: YesYouKan. And I did that only today. This problem has been going on for awhile.

The total objects in your profile are not very many, so should be quick and easy to try this:
Create a new profile on the mobile app. Setup sync and enter the master password when prompted. See if you still get an issue on the new profile. If it's all working you can delete the original profile
I'm trying to avoid doing that because it take does quite a bit of time on mobile, believe it or not. If all else fails, I will do something to that effect.
Ok. Not a solution, but here are some investigation steps you can try to see if anything stands out to you, if you identify the resource in question:
-On Joplin desktop, make a 'RAW - Joplin Export Directory' export. Search the resulting folder for the resource id, and check if it exists and is valid
-On Joplin desktop, in the main search bar above your notes, try searching: b17c06b7b4ab4f9bb3098553d9addd90
This will match the inline content which uses the resource in question, so you can find if the resource is actually still valid. If it is not and you don't mind losing it, you could go to Tools, Note attachments, search for the resource id and delete the resource. Then let it sync and see if the issue is resolved on mobile after syncing there
I did this and found it. For some reason I got it into my head that the hashes would be different per device. Duh. Stupid. Anyway, it was an image within a note that was commented out via <!-- -->
And it was commented out some time ago.
Why would the sync say it was missing if it is effectively no longer relevant? Why would it disappear on the mobile device and not on the desktop?
Anyway. I uncommented it. Resynced. And all is well.
That sounds like a bug to me.
Glad you could resolve the issue though.
On the android app, in synchronization, advanced settings. What value do you have set for attachment download behaviour? If it is set to either manual or auto, then maybe there might be a bug on the mobile app when it is not set to always
Always. Which, I assume, is the default.
Also, Note history was turned off for all devices.
