Hi! I guess this comes up every now and then, but it always fell into oblivion, so I would like to bring this up again.
Coming from Trilium, I have imported all my notebooks into Joplin. I have created quite deeply nested notes and notebooks. In Trilium, there is no differentiation between notes and notebooks; they are presented together in one big collapsible tree. For me, this was very helpful, because I tend to structure complex information into many subcategories; making a big topic more structured and ordered. It still helps to quickly get an overview by navigating the collapsible tree with all the notes in it. Unfortunately, Joplin strictly shows notebooks and notes in different sections. This makes navigating my notes very unintuitive. Going by that visual order, I can't find my notes quickly anymore.
I really want to love Joplin, but this is a total show-stopper for me before the show even begins. I saw that there are no plugins for that, and old theme recommendations end in dead links. I am not good with code customizations (TypeScript, Css, whatever), but I still would like to ask if this is possible that way; and if someone has an idea how to do it.
