Joplin 2.6.10 (prod, darwin)
I am having a few problems moving from en to J so I would like to delete all my notes in J and start again. How can I delete all of my current notes in J? I cannot 'select all' or see any obvious way to mass delete. Thanks for any assist.
Delete the notebook(s) the notes are in.
Hi, welcome to the forum!
Additionally to previous response, have a look at Joplin reset plugin called Victor, but be careful it also clears settings of the app
Victor Plugin for Joplin
Victor helps you delete all your Joplin and start over. It can sometimes be useful for example when you want to clear a sync target you do not have full access to. In that case you would invoke Victor, delete all your data, then synchronise with the service (which in turn will delete the remote data).
Of course the plugin should be used very carefully because once deleted the data cannot be recovered. In fact, after having used it, it is better to disable or even unins…
Well, there also is the list of 'All notes', where you can press
ctrl+ a to select all... this shouldn't delete notebooks, though.
Or you can quit Joplin and delete the entire Profile folder and start from scratch.
