What issue do you have?

Just starting this morning, the markdown code to another Joplin note appears in the preview pane. So, I right-clicked the destination note and selected "Copy Markdown link". I then went to the note where I want the link to appear and pasted the link.

The link appears normally in the editor pane, but that same code appears in the preview pane. It does not appear as a link.

I quit and restarted Joplin. I checked for updates (none). I toggled the panes to see if that might reset the view (it did not). I removed the unicode character I had added before the link because why not and that had no impact.

Why does the preview pane suddenly show the code rather than the link like it did yesterday?

Try putting an empty line between the <br> and the link (or get rid of the <br>)

That’s it! I didn’t even think the HTML could interfere with the markdown. Thanks!
