macOS: alarm does not appear

I set up an alarm on my macOS desktop Joplin app. But when the time came it didn’t show up. But alarms did work on my iPad.

I used a time outside my “do not disturb” time. I tried it with Joplin open and Joplin closed. My ToDo Note was not checked.

As far as I understand Joplin should be listed in my Mac Notification Center. But it doesn’t show up.

I’m using macOS Catalina 10.15.5 and Joplin 1.0.227 (prod, darwin)

Was there any error or warning around the time the alarm should have triggered in the log? Normally it should at least say that it tries to trigger the alarm and that wasn’t possible there should be some error message https://joplinapp.org/debugging

Attached you will find the content of two files:

  • error message from log.txt and
  • the messages from the console
